Summer Produce

A few pictures of the garden our summer produce! We've canned around 24 quarts of pickles already, froze a ton of beans and corn, and we are getting some great tomatoes and peppers! Our raspberries are coming along nicely again - not enough for a pie yet (hopefully we'll get enough...it's my favorite!), but at least there's enough to enjoy off the plant, or over ice cream a couple of times a week!

Loads of tomatoes on the vine...

Lots of corn!

Sweet corn, tomatoes and lettuce freshly picked and ready for salads!

Fresh picked carrots, a green tomato (special kind that never turns red), some good looking red tomatoes, and orange sweet peppers!
Surprise! Our surprise lillies were in bloom the first week in August

Berkley playing with one of our carrots

Munching on a yellow bean! She was skeptical of it the whole time...but she kept chewing away!
