Here is a slideshow of the photos of Mckenah that were taken by the hospital photographer. It's a couple of minutes long, mostly because each picture is shown in both color and black and white. Some very cute shots though! We'll be having Mckenah's official newborn photos taken by Brook on Wednesday this week!

Mckenah meets Berkley and more family

Berkley came to the hospital with Daddy on Wednesday and did so great! She was excited to see her right away, and while she wasn't quite ready to hold Mckenah yet, she had fun looking at her and snuggling next to her (see video at the bottom!). Both sets of Grandparents came to visit Wednesday morning as well, and Auntie Amy, Uncle Scott, and cousin Gianna came in the evening. It was a fun day introducing Mckenah to them all!

Welcome Mckenah Louise!

We are so very happy to announce that Mckenah Louise Weber was born on Tuesday, April 10 at 6:24pm! She was 7lbs, 12 oz and 20". I was very fortunate to have a pretty smooth labor and delivery and we are all happy and healthy! Mckenah's name was Daddy's idea and a compilation of 3 references to Canadian lakes and our recent cabin purchase.
Mck - comes from McKee Lake, a neighboring lake to Ten Mile Lake camp we've gone to the last couple years. It's Ben's favorite lake in that area. Sarah's been going to Ten Mile with her family since she was very young.

en - part of the above mentioned Ten Mile Lake Camp (also noteworthy - "en" is part of Ben's name!)

ah - a reference to the cabin we just purchased on Armistice Lake in Canada, and it's associated real estate listing: "Armistice Hideaway" (also noteworthy - "ah" is part of Sarah's name!).

Mckenah's middle name of Louise is his maternal grandmother's name.
