Football with Daddy

Berkley loves to play football with Daddy - who claims that she will be the first female quarterback at Portage high :) Here they are in action:

She got the Busy Ball Popper from Aunt Amy and family and she has a blast with it. She's played with one at daycare before, so it didn't take long for her to get the hang of it! Here's a video of her in action:

Merry Christmas!

Berkley had so much fun on her first Christmas! She helped in opening some of her presents and was quite intrigued by the whole process. Santa stuffed Berkley's stocking with animal & goldfish crackers, and a new toothbrush and toothpaste! He also brought her an elmo toy and doll, which she absolutely loves! Mom & Dad also gave her a block set, books, and some fancy patten leather shoes! She opened presents from Aunt Rachel, Uncle Dan, and her cousins Joey & Jack too - and immediately wanted to read her new books and was pulling pieces out of the puzzles! After celebrating at home Christmas morning, we went to Grandma & Grandpa Cerny's to celebrate with them and Aunt Amy, Uncle Scott, and Gianna. We had lots more presents and she instantly wanted to play with her unicorn from cousin Gianna, the Little People Nativity Set, and new piggy bathtoys! Everyone is (as usual) so generous and it was a fun day!

Berkley meets Santa!

Berkley met Santa last weekend in Baraboo...and it went exactly as expected. She was ok for the most part as long as Mom was holding her..but as soon as she was alone with him, it was all screams! I quickly whisked her away and then we were all smiles again :)

We had her carseat in the house adjusting the straps, and she LOVED crawling in it to sit and read, watch Elmo, etc. It was too cute!

More Thanksgiving weekend photos & 2 videos...

In mid-November, Berkley took way too long of a nap late afternoon into early evening - and subsequently decided she should be up and about later in the evening. She had a burst of energy that was just hilarious!
