Everyone wants to know how we came up with Berkley's name...so here's the story! Ben and I had two names (one boy and one girl) picked out pretty much from the beginning, so we weren't really looking for other names. But when we were on our fishing trip in Canada this past summer, we were joking around and coming up with silly fishing related names we could name the baby. Names like Shimano and Rapala, and another was Berkley (all are name brands of fishing gear). We were trying to convince our fathers on the trip that we were serious about the names...but as time went by, Berkley really started to grow on us! In the end - it was still down to two different girl names, and it took us a little while after she was born to decide...but Ben let me make the final decision and Berkley it was!
